Wow Killzone beat MW2 for shooter of the year. Wish I had a PSP for monster hunter. Flower? really thats the best game on PSN of the year? hmm maybe I should check it out.
i am amazed that Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2 is the runner up on the PSP RPG.. I was expecting it to be an awesome RPG like Persona or Disgaea 2
How did borderlands beat Dragon Age for RPG runner up, DA:O has so much more depth and choice and a real atmosphere, borderlands is not as good.
You know I was thinking the same thing. I’m curious as to how they made their decisions. I can understand uncharted 2, and Killzone 2. Borderlands beating out DAO…i’m not sure I can cosign on that one. I played DAO for a week straight until I beat it. Borderlands…well its sitting on my shelf as we speak…collecting dust. In its defense however, I still have to finish AC2, Mass Effect, and a couple other games. Played borderlands for a couple hours but then kind of got bored. It’s like im waiting for the hook…hopefully it gets better as it goes along.
Get’em Sev. We the PSLS’ers chose these so if you didn’t vote then too bad. If you did vote and your favs didn’t win too bad. I thought it the results were just fine as all of the winners and runers up are great games.
Interesting results when readers choose. I have no complaints because some great games won and now some people may finally try them.
I hope these awards return next year as well.

Really surprised NHL 10 didn’t win best PS3 Sports Game and The Beatles Rock Band didn’t win best PS3 Music / Rythm game.
marve; vs capcom 2 is the best downloadable ame for me but RE5 is not the best horror game, did u guys take that part seriously?
seriously , killzone 2 as “shooter of the year”….modern warfare 2 should have won……………………………….and uncharted 2 winning “best adventure/action game” ….assassins creed 2 should have won………yall have bad taste in games……seriously
Demon’s Souls totally won RPG…..best RPG I have played on a console in a while (after Eternal Sonata)
