Get Acquainted with Kingdom Hearts: Birth by Sleep

Kingdom Hearts: Birth by Sleep, a prequel to the very first Kingdom Hearts released on the PS2 is up for release here soon in Japan and to get everyone jazzed up for it new screenshots have emerged showing off a couple of battles and character close-ups.

Kingdom Hearts: Birth by Sleep takes place 10 years prior to the events in Kingdom Hearts and tells the story of Terra, Ventus, and Aqua in their quest to locate the missing master Xehanort. With a rehauled battle system and a lot of backstory into the Kingdom Hearts realm, this should make for a very solid game. The game releases in Japan on the 9th of this month, no word yet on a western release though Square Enix has said they plan to bring it over.

Now THIS is what I want to see on PlayStation Lifestyle!
By far the greatest series in gaming, and the utterly incredible things we’ve seen of this game could prove it to be the greatest game of all time.
A true masterpiece is about to reach the PSP, and it alone makes the PSP surpass even the PS3 in 2010, in my eyes.

This is going to be amazing. KH is my favorite series. I’m going to have to get a new PSP for this game. =/
