Blood Bowl is coming to the PSP from South Peak Games. If you are scratching your head wondering what Blood Bowl is, imagine the team that created Madden NFL had a late drunken night with some Ogres and decided to make a game the next morning. The results would probably resemble something similar to Blood Bowl, basically football with violence bumped up to 11.
Coming to the PlayStation Portable, Nintendo DS, Xbox 360 and PC this month, Blood Bowl will provide a table-top style of gameplay. Directly inspired by the Warhammer series you will recognize all of the cute and cuddly characters from the Games Workshop’s universe. The turn-based game play will allow for players to implement maximum strategy and damage on the gridiron. From kick off to touch down, Blood Bowl will keep you glued to your PSP with dirty tricks, secret weapons and visceral gaming.
“We’re thrilled to have a part in bringing a proper retail version of Blood Bowl to North American gamers on Windows PC, Xbox 360 and PSP. It’s never easy to get all these races to agree on something – but if there’s one thing they love its good competition with a lot of bloodshed!”
- Aubrey Norris, Manager of Human-Orc Relations at SouthPeak

Seen it in motion and I can say that it not being on the PS3 is a good thing. Looked turn based on the PSP don’t know about the 360 though.
