Heavy Rain Could Be Coming Home

Genre defying murder mystery Heavy Rain is set to bring an unprecedented level of interactive storytelling to the PlayStation 3, immersing gamers in an enthralling plot that follows several characters on the trail of the Origami Killer. Sony and Quantic Dream have shown themselves to be committed to the game, promising a demo for the title as well as post-launch downloadable content, and now, possibly even a PlayStation Home space.
On the official European PlayStation Blog Alex Pavey, European Product Manager for Heavy Rain, teased:

couldn’t care less about Home but I have to say that screenshot looks amazing. If it wasn’t for the jagged edges on the top of his ear it would look like a real man.
That’s pretty much confirmation!
It would be great if it game launched from inside of Home or its own space. And maybe you could walk around a room and it would take you straight into the game if your disc is in there…
I’m a fan of Home and it’s growth always excites me. Now that doesn’t mean I go on there more than maybe once a week, but it’s just good to hear reasons to go back. Now on the Heavy Rain, for some reason with me this game just feels like something that I might not have the patience to get into. Now the game looks great and that great for the System in general but I don’t know. And is it just me or does the first scene release of the game look 10x better than the recent ones? I don’t know, maybe it’s just been so long and my ideals on graphics have evalved. Naaa, that ain’t it.

More content in Home can only be a good thing. This game looks fantastic, it’s definetly going to give Uncharted 2 a run for it’s money in the graphics department.
