Wet is a high-action, grindhouse-style third person shooter released this September. Some of the features of the game include acrobatic gunplay, stylized graphics, and tons of whiskey drinking. Now, you can get all the high flying action for a fraction of the price.
Gamestop is offering the game at half-off for $29.99. You can go here to pick up a copy. A great deal, especially considering how many AAA titles came out this fall.

there’s a reason the price has dropped so dramatically…according to the demo I played it isn’t worth it

Like most of the current games it makes a great rental. This game has some great cut-scenes and the levels are a lot of fun to play.
The demo doesn’t do the game any justice. The games a fun play through though if you’re into shooters.
I stopped buying games. No point in paying 60 bucks for a game that’ll get discounted, and only get 10-20 bucks back if I trade it in.

Funny, after looking at some of the button mashers people are going ga-ga over these days – the ones that make me feel like I’ve played the thing numerous times before, just with different art styles – I was thinking that Wet is starting to look pretty darned good in comparison.

I was TRYING to like this game it because it had some pretty cool ideas and vibe to it but over all it’s just not enough. The best thing about this game is the music which consisted of a lot of Rockabilly / Rock music and fit the whole vibe to the game perfectly.
Also, the last boss fight was a joke. I was one of the most disappointing fights…ever!
Seriously…the last boss fight is a QTE (Quick Time Event)….not like God of War QTE…..the WHOLE FUCKING THING!
That being said I do believe this game has a lot of potential to be SOOOO much better if they make a second one.

You guys gave the game more credit than I’ve heard it’s worth. There’s a reason it’s down to 30 so soon.

if anyone somewhat enjoyed this game, i recommend you look up a game called “Stranglehold”

One of the worst things I have played (just ahead of Overlord II)
