Treyarch’s Next Called to Duty in November 2010

The upcoming Call of Duty 7, which is being developed by Treyarch, is already rumored to have a Vietnam setting. The latest addition to the rumors are that it will have a 2010 release.
The source of this rumor is a “senior UK trade rep”. The rep had this to say:
“Activision believes that it can own Christmas again, just as it has in the last two years.
“Development is on course – and Treyarch have been told the game must be ready to hit shelves before the gifting season,”

When the series finally hits the gutter, I guess Activision could go into the milking business.
This game will not, i repeat, will not sell. The Vietnam War is to much of a psyche shock that parents who were protesters then will most likely kill the kids credit access on this one. Plus parents might not have the money for this years “gifting season”…

Call Of Duty: World At War 2. Surely when we know the title of the game before the creators of the medium it’s a sign of overmilking if anything. The sad part is people will buy this, Bobby will win, he’ll overcharge people, a petition will start but they’ll fail and then everyone will go on about how great this game is becasue their sad little sheep who’ll slurp up whatever crap kotick pisses into their trove. I know my friend’s brother is one of those true believers. Some people will believe anything
They release Call of Duty titles way too often in my personal opinion.

that because 2 companies take over after the other one is done. MW2 is the best and Treyarch always fails
hardly call W@W a fail..
I for one am looking forward to a Vietnam setting. lets hope they dont screw up the multiplayer like in MW2 where the maps are smaller than shit and having a scope is just a wasted loadout I for one will give up “pretty” graphics for decent size maps!
World at War maps easily defeat Modern Warfare maps hands down!
I won’t be surprised when Activision releases 2-3 Call of Duty Games a year. Their greed and stupidity will kill the series off and it will become another industry joke. Can’t wait for CoD 99.
Activision is going to run out of wars to reenact and slowly turn Modern Warfare into Future Warfare(a.k.a. Halo).
I’ll be getting Resistance 3 instead of this!
I just love it when publishers tell developers to have games ready by a certain time…it guarantees the game will be the best it can be and they will have enough time to add new features and update the engine to make sure the experience feels new and refreshing….wait a second, I have that backwards…I hate you Activision….greedy bastards

Screw that Vietnam crap, COD needs to get with it and fix there crappy old wars style, its far too played out by now. I remember playing vietnam on PC when I was 11, it was old then so 13 years later I doubt it’ll be any more fun.

@ SPD55- hehe after buying all the hit of 2010, they probably won’t have enough money left for another copy of almost the same game with quite of good things indeed but still same game with new setup.
