Tekken 6 is one of the best fighters this generation, delivering a solid and entertaining game both offline and online. Namco is hoping to give fans an even more thrilling experience in the online component of the fighter by allowing players to play the title cooperatively online.
Namco Bandai will be releasing a patch on January 18th to allow co-op campaign play, the game’s Scenario Campaign mode will be playable by two people. The co-op play was previously only available offline with an AI partner accompanying you in the Scenario Campaign mode.
The update will also bring in a voice chat option and a co-operating leaderboard for score tracking.

Great news! Got this game for Christmas. I was hoping they would allow co-op for the scenario campaign.
