God of War III will be the last title of the trilogy, but Sony doesn’t have any plans to stop the franchise any time soon. Sony Santa Monica explains how the God of War franchise will be tearing off heads for years to come.
Sony Santa Monica’s director of product development, John Hight has told GV in an interview the future regarding the God Of War franchise:
This is not the end of God of War. This is definitely the end of the trilogy, but we’re going to continue to do God of War games. We’re going to be very careful about what we do; we’re the keepers of the franchise and we don’t want to see it ruined or polluted.
Kratos put an end to the GOW3 embargo yesterday, with some breathtaking new screens.
In the end, this saga will be over, but God of War will still be with us long after Kratos’ quest in God Of War 3.
l liked Kratos because he was revenge driven. What’s the next GoW gonna be about, Hercules the untold stories?
Kratos vs Hercules anybody?
Hummmmmm, i think it wont be anything predictable. Look at god of war and how different it was when it launched. No i thing its going to be something unexpected, about some person made up just like god of war but in its own unique way.
there is still the brother
so the next 1 will be with multiplayer
I’ve always wanted to see a alternate GoW set in Roman mythology.
Not involving Kratos, but some new character and a new God of War….Mars.
I expect to see the brother appear in GoW 3. Look at the trophy lists for the collection, they made it a point to have people watch the video that talks about his brother. I just hope they don’t do the standard “lets drag this out and milk it until krato’s is just another bloody diseased tramp in the gutter on the corner” thing…
Greek V Roman might be interesting. It’s basically an untapped market, so I don’t see why they wouldn’t advance on it.
