It never ends, does it? For quite some time now, Grand Theft Auto: Episodes from Liberty City has been rumored to be gracing the PlayStation 3 at one point or another. The package, which includes The Lost and Damned and The Ballad of Gay Tony, is currently exclusive to Xbox 360.
Retail website simplygames.com has listed Grand Theft Auto: Episodes from Liberty City for PS3. The listing even contains the newly designed PS3 boxart, lending the listing some credibility.
What do you think? Could this be legitimate? Post your comments below!
I don’t care how old Gta IV is I will be buying this first day since I am a huge GTA fan!
FINNALY! Episodes of liberty city is hitting the PS3. I hope this isn’t fake otherwise a lot of people will be pissed off.
Time for the monthly GTA DLC coming to PS3 postings…lol Not lol @PSLifestyle, just at how some retailer seems to always list this about once a month. This one could be true though, so you never know.
I will tell you what I do know though. The bundled disc-based GTA IV DLC is one of the best gaming deals ever. Not quite The Orange Box(pc, 360 anyway) level but close. Gay Tony is awesome.
Sounds legit to me seeing as what we’ve heard on the Rockstar blog earlier this month about Rockstar going to be good to PS3 owners from now on.
obviously they’ve realised that pissing a whole group of gamers isn’t finanical clever when your in the games industry. The C.E.O of sony should have made a full Playstation fanbase boycott of Rockstar because some people follow them like Jack tretton is a god.
Maybe then rockstar would have been given us more. In fact I want confirmation from the houser brothers that Agent will NEVER come to the 360 because of how spitefull the 360 fanboys where with this DLC.

Good addition and I believe it.
Hopefully this is real… I’ve wanted to play it but I don’t want to buy it for on 360.
I’m sure this is legitimate because it seems like Microsoft loves to buy timed exclusivity rights lately…will I buy it if it is true?? Nope! Developers should learn to quit selling timed exclusivity rights to Microsoft. But that isn’t why I won’t buy it…I just don’t want it because I struggled to finish GTA IV the way it was
too bad GTA4 was the lamest GTA game in the series. l would have loved a new Vice City GTA
What of the other DLC? I’d like to play that one more!
Nice. It’s gonna happen, and this time I’m sure it’s true. Time to reintroduce myself with Niko and the gang
hmmm id take this with a heavy dose of salt.
anyone remember L4D popping up on game for PS3?
how did that turn out?
how about L4D2?
or ME?
or ME2?
if i had a nickle for every time we had rumors of once exclusive games going MP, either way, id be the richest man in the world by now.
if it does though (which i highly doubt) meh, only because i played the DLC disk when it came out in november and did not really like it.
its better than GTAIV but than saying that is like saying a kick to the face is better than a kick to the balls.
alan wake, or crackdown 2 now where talking, anything other than that i really could not care less!
….apparently you’ve forgotten about a little game titled Bioshock.
Its a good thig, but wont b buying this title. They always seem to put forth a halfed ass effort when doing ports
We all knew this would happen sooner or later. With the quite woeful worldwide sales figures of the Xbox 360 in recent months making a full third – party exclusive is not a fantastic business decision, even if Microsoft were stupid enough to pay out $50 million and even if it is only DLC.
Oh and to the guy using ME 2 as an example. ME 2 IS coming to the PS3, Bioware have been asked in countless interviews to confirm it is 360/PC only and they have flatout refused to guarantee it will never be on PS3 time and again. Same goes for Ubisoft’s Splinter Cell: Conviction.
Timed exclusive…..full exclusive, it doesn’t matter. Fact is Microsoft throwing all this money around (Remember – they DID offer 2K $200 million to keep the Bioshock franchise exclusive) proves that they are feeling the pressure, now more so than ever.
