Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker Won’t Be Sneaking So Soon

Konami has announced that its much anticipated upcoming PSP title Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker has been delayed in Japan.

Snake’s latest adventure on the handheld was previously slated for a March 18 release, however, the action title will now release on April 29.

According to Kotaku JP, the delay in Japan will not affect the dates for the title in the west. Peace Walker is still looking set for a May 25 release for the US, and a May 28 date for the UK. Konami says the game has been delayed for final modifications.

Hideo Kojima stated that the game was so big, it could have been Metal Gear Solid 5, so it comes as no surprise that a perfectionist like Kojima would want a little bit more time with the game.
