We don’t currently have anything for motion controls.
However, PixelJunk Shooter‘s director Shouichi Tominaga spoke how about the idea of motion control interests him:
In my head, there are a bunch of ideas,” he said. “I like new technologies, so it’s of interest to me. We’ve got nothing to announce at this point, though.
Sony’s motion controller was recently delayed and set to have a Fall 2010 release. Also check out PlayStation LifeStyle’s review of PixelJunk Shooter.
actually, a motion control Q-game might be pretty fun.
I am sure that down the road they will have something. With Sony delaying this hardware to go Head to Head with M$ Natal (PS2 EYEToy) body motion controller. It will blow that 10year old tech out of the water. The “ARC” is closer to the way motion controllers need to be just look at the explosion of the Wii, it has no camera but its motion control is what most “Casual” gamers like about it and is what gives it the #1 spot in sales. So Sony is trying to do the same thing and get around any patent issues since Sony uses the camera to add extra precision with the glowing ball.
It will probably get redesigned so it has a more appealing look. I mean it just looks so childish to me. But in the en motion control on the PS3 is going to open so many more doors for the PS3.
Q-Games Currently *DOESN’T* Have Anything For Motion Control.
Sorry about being the grammar police.
I can’t wait until the brilliant minds at Q-Games take advantage of the Arc.
