Quantum Theory Gets a Delay

02/03/2010 Written by Zak Islam

PS3 fans weren’t particularly happy about Tecmo’s exclusive turning multi-platform, and now Tecmo Koei has confirmed that Quantum Theory will be releasing this year, but delayed from its original March destination.

The once PlayStation 3 exclusive, now multi-platform Quantum Theory, has been delayed to “later in 2010.” In a statement issued to a source, Tecmo has pushed the shooter back.

“We can confirm that Quantum Theory has been moved to later in 2010. We feel the game deserves optimum development time, and we aim to deliver the very best title we can.”

“We are still thoroughly committed to Quantum Theory and this short delay can only make for a stronger, more entertaining game.”

The shooter was originally slated for a March 25 release. Check out some screenshots of the game which showcase what it’s all about.

I don’t know why, I just have a feeling this is going to be one of those games that will still end up being a pile of crap even after the delay…I hope I’m wrong.

it sorta reminded me of gears of war combined with a turd, I’m glad they’re not done with it.

This is a game I am interested in, from some of the hands on reviews I’ve read the framerate was still choppy, lets hope they get this all worked out, also the delay maybe a good idea seeing releasing at the same time period as God of War 3, I feel sorry for ANY game coming out when God of War 3 does.

  4. Good. this needed to get delayed. I don’t think sales would be that great with all the competition.
