Darksiders Sequel Annihilating Our Future

Darksiders, a brand-new IP from Vigil Games and published by THQ, performed amicably upon its release. And for good reason too – take a look at our review and you can see why it sold well. THQ has recently announced their intention of backing this franchise.

The guy on the right likely won't be in the sequel.

A post on the official Darksiders blog simply states:

Yes, Darksiders will be getting a sequel. That’s all we can tell you for now…

So fans of the series can rejoice for the continuation of Darksiders. Obviously, with the initial title still freshly-released we won’t likely see the sequel this year, but hopefully next year or 2012.

I am glad they are backing the franchise. I very much enjoyed Darksiders.

Add the rest of the 3 horsemen, add a option to have realistic graphics like the cutscene from the beginning of the game, more deep and interesting story and add online mulitplayer and you have a sequel that most fans would like lol.
