Fear Big Daddy in Bioshock 2 Launch Trailer

Bioshock was a critical success when it released back in 2007 and with everything that has been seen of Bioshock 2, it looks to follow suit. With the game releasing this Tuesday the 9th, 2k Games has released a launch trailer for this highly anticipated game.
The trailer shows us some amazing visuals and reminds us all just how badass Big Daddy is. Check out the trailer below and look for our review coming soon.

AWESOME trailer……. Looks amazing!! I didnt play Bioshock 1
controls seem to suk but this looks awesome & the story really makes me wanna play em..! Carnt wait for the reviews!!!!!! + the xtras in Bioshock2 including the 12″ is a must!!!
wow, badass trailer. playing through the original right now on survivor mode, its a great challenge. It really makes using plasmids and the environment to your advantage a must.
@Lemmy – the controls are a bit different from your typical shooter, but take a bit to get used to them. They are appropriate for this style of game. I do hope the layout is tweaked a bit for the new one.
that is a pretty sweet trailer…I’ve always wondered though about who is in the Big Daddy suits?? I haven’t finished the first game yet so maybe they tell you somewhere within that story, but I want to know if it’s just some mutated people who found these really sweet suits??? Or are they just machines that someone built??
@giese – they explain in one of the logs (or perhaps more than one) in the first game that they – like the little sisters – are experimental subjects. They took regular guys and induced a hypno plasmid so that their sole purpose is to protect little sisters, and then welded (not the appropriate word, but you get the idea) the suit to them. Once in the suit, there is no way to get out alive. Not much other detail is given, like how they chose the people to use… but I have a feeling that there will be a deeper back story to our particular big daddy in the sequel. There are some other details on the big daddies towards the end of the original game, but nothing about the people on the inside.

ive been playing it since friday.got like 14% of the trophies so far.I must say its a bit harder then the original.my PSN is tortured3 be sure to add me and we can play some multiplayer.

Nice trailer. But I don’t see anything new in BioShock 2, IGN said that there’s only some additions to gameplay, the rest of the game is nothing new which is kinda lame. I’ll buy the game and check myself.
