After receiving a red light in Japan and no solid concrete release date yet confirmed, an online retailer has hinted at when the release date for Gran Turismo 5 will be.
According to Amazon.com, Gran Turismo 5 is set for a November 1, 2010 release.
Recently in an interview, Sony’s Portugal boss James Armstrong has confirmed that Polyphony Digital’s racer will be racing towards a launch “this fall”.
We believe that launching the product this fall, before Christmas, but not yet decided.
Although this is likely to be a place-holder date, it may turn out to be the actual November release date, as the racer looks very likely to be waiving the checkered flag at its lengthy development process. Multiple N4G forum users are also claiming that Amazon has informed them that the date came direct from Sony.
On top of all this release date talk, Amazon has also updated the price of GT5 taking $5 off the total price for a total of $54.99.
Pre-order Gran Turismo 5 now or gear up for the much anticipated PS3 exclusive with these racing peripherals.
Stick with PlayStation LifeStyle as we reveal more on the racer as soon as it breaks.

Please hold this date. I want to get my hands on it by the end of the year.

If perfections is the goal then the game will never release… Perfection is an unattainable condition in video games, they are created by people who make mistakes because they work to long and sleep to little.

Amazon? lol
1month ago Amazon emailed me saying Dante’s inferno was changed to fall 2013. Id rather believe multiple game sites before Amazon.
N4G forum users are also claiming that Amazon has informed them that the date came direct from Sony.

Well November would be the latest possible release date, they’ll want the game out well in time for the Christmas rush. I was kinda hoping the release date would be August – October but as long as it comes out this year i’ll be happy.

I can’t believe anyone is still planning to buy it! Until I found out today that they pushed the date back again I was going to buy it in march, but now I am completely fed up with being strung along. I bought my ps3 when it came out just in preparation for gt5. now 4 years later I still only have a limited version and a time trial. WTF?! just release the game already! I know I’m not the only one who feels this way, they are losing more and more fans at each push back and soon all you optimists will join the ranks of us who say screw gt5 we’re not going to keep being strung along keep your game!
