Japanese magazine Dengeki has apparently teased in its latest podcast that a sequel to Demon’s Souls, may be making a return to the kingdom of Boletaria.
The game was not exactly notified as Demon’s Souls, but the podcast mentioned it is an “unannounced sequel” to a game which came out last year, and had some “interesting gameplay systems”.
It’s not known yet if it is Demon’s Souls but “interesting gameplay systems” leans a lot towards the RPG.
Demon’s Souls has been one of the most extraordinary experiences for the RPG faithful. With an extremely but unique challenge, the underdog hit PS3 exclusive has remained popular since its North American release last year in October. With all the success the game has had, it would be surprising if Sony and From Software don’t announce a sequel.

“interesting gameplay system”……couldn’t be Demon’s Souls or else it would say totally awesome gameplay system
Ninja Blade also came out last year by From Software. Didn’t play it, so can’t comment if the gameplay system was interesting or not.
hopefully they make the sequel harder. What a breeze
I gotta agree with Max. Everyone whined about how hard it was….it was the easiest platinum I ever earned (I have 18 so I can compare). That being said it was also one of the most enjoyable I ever earned. A great game and I’m glad I bought the SE…still waiting on my replacement guide.
Looking forward to the next one…hope they don’t make it easier but harder.
@Robotron
How many playthroughs did you go through to get that platinum? It might not have been a hard for you to attain it but I’m sure time consuming.
I’ll agree the game was fun…but i’d never play through it more than once just for a stupid trophy. I don’t understand the fascination with those things? Just play the game…nobody cares if you have 18 trophies…you just sound dumb. That’s like bragging b/c you sit at the front of the short bus.
