Dead Rising 2 is set to have gamers tearing through zombie flesh after this summer, but if you want to see some guts, gore, and blood endlessly spilling on Chuck, then look no further.
The first brutal video shows countless zombies being massacred with chainsaws attached to a kayak paddle. The second is zombies being brutally shocked with a rake.
The following videos contain lots and lots of gore. Don’t say I didn’t warn you.

Didnt play the first one.. is there a story involved?
Not impressed at all…..
First one was Xbox 360 exclusive.
Now to get back to the sequel, game seems incredibly dull. I don’t have an Xbox and have never played Left 4 Dead, but I would take that franchise over Dead Rising on any giving day. How do people actually have fun slicing-and-dicing the zombies with a chainsaw for days straight without any challenges? It will get old really fast.
The first one did have a story and pretty awesome boss fights too. You did have objectives and the hordes of zombies around were just to make it so that you try and survive it.
The first one was timed based, you had 3 days to complete all the objectives and you even got different endings depending on how many objectives you completed, how far you progressed in the story, and how many people you rescued (other survivors)
It was in fact entertaining to play, because there were multiple ways of clearing a path for yourself from the zombies while progressing through the story. The soundtrack for the game was great as well. This is by no means a Survival Horror game or a First/Third Person Survival Shooter. I would say it’s more like a Survival Action/Adventure game.
I played the first game when i had a 360 and i thought it was as brilliant as a game could get! I’ll always remember having to go through the gardens in the middle of the mall to reach another section. Somewhere in there was a lawnmower (a good old-fashioned one with the spinning bade tube thingy at the front) and the way you could plough through the zombie horde with legs, arms and all-sorts of bodyparts flailing everywhere was amazing and very amusing to watch!
Everything that Xael is saying is right and to anyone that never got the chance to play the first one, give this a go if and when a demo comes out. You never know, you might love it!
