Nathan Drake has already struck gold with Uncharted 2: Among Thieves, receiving numerous Game of the Year honors. However, don’t expect Drake to stop any time soon, as Uncharted 2 is looking to steal the show at the upcoming BAFTA Video Game Awards. Hosted by the British Academy of Film and Television Arts and partnered with GAME, the BAFTA Video Game Awards honor the greatest games of 2009.

Uncharted 2: Among Thieves is up for 10 nominations, including Best Action Game, Best Game, and Best Original Score. Modern Warfare 2 comes in second with eight nominations, while Batman: Arkham Asylum sneaks in with an impressive seven.

    you just know modern warfare 2 is going to end up with most of the awards. It’s unfair because it’ll just give kotick another reason to be a smug prick this year.

    YES THAT IS TRUE & ALSO SO WRONG :( :(
    MW2 Dont deserve nuttin’…….. well maybe ‘shortest game ever with jelly for blood effects award’

  3. neilung says:

    MW2 is rubbish, single player terrible, multiplayer death match crap, co-op short 2 player only. Most over hyped game of the year

    @lemmy78

    what someone deserves and what someone gets are two differant things. The only award it deserves is “Most likely to win an award due to fanboys who’ll buy any crap” and Bobby Kotick should win the “Guy i wanna have killed and stuffed so i can roll over and punch him in the face every time I wake up” of the year.

  5. Nathan Drake is leading the nominations for BAMF
