God of War III Demo Coming Next Week
God of War III is nearly upon us. With the cliff hander ending players were treated to in God of War II, fans of the series have been curious of the fate Kratos will receive. Traditionally for the God of War series a demo is available prior to the game release. Some of us have been treated to the E3 demo, but there hasn’t been any clear indication of when a demo would be available on the PlayStation Network, until now.
Gaming retailer GAME has an offer for UK residents who preorder the standard version of God of War III. The offer details an email will be dispatched to participants with information on accessing the demo February 19th. Interestingly enough it also states by February 25th the demo will no longer be exclusive to GAME and it will be available on the PlayStation Network. The PlayStation Store updates next Thursday on February 25th so it is likely to be available there. Whether this is just for UK or all of us remains to be seen.
Kratos’ final epic hits store shelves March 16th exclusively for the PlayStation 3.

I can’t wait to see how many records the demo breaks on the PSN…lol.
I’ve already played the demo so much, you’d think I was testing it for bugs. I wish today was March 15th. Well maybe the 12th..my birthday is the 13th.
WTF? The GoW3 demo is already available on the PSN, the American one, anyway. I myself have already played it, and it was pretty darn good.
The demo you have most likely played JumperPrime is the E3 demo, which was an early build of the game and I’m not sure it is available to everyone yet, just those who have pre-ordered the game or bought the GoW Collection…I’m hoping that this is a completely new demo that reflects the finished product.

Is it the same demo or a different one?
I placed my pre-order with Game way before the 19th of feb and have yet to receive an e-mail, i asked them when i was likely to get an e-mail from them via their ‘contact us’ area on friday and have yet to get a reply. I pre-ordered with Game only because of the early release of the demo and there are frankly cheaper offers available for GOW 3. Lack of communication and imminent release of GOD 3 demo on either PSN or other vendors via pre-order means Game are likely to lose my custom..not happy.
