Capcom Tease “Huge Announcement” In April
Capcom are not known for making low-quality, rushed titles, no, they’re known for some of the biggest games know to date, Street Fighter, Resident Evil , Devil May Cry and Mega Man just to name a small few. The publisher’s 2010 line-up is shaping up to be one of the best in the company’s history, however, Capcom isn’t stopping there as they have a ‘huge announcement’ to deliver in April.
Capcom’s John Diamonon teased the announcement on the PlayStation US Blog, alongside the news of Marvel vs. Capcom 2 will obtain a 50% discount on the PlayStation Store.
Oh, one other thing. I’ll be back in April for a huge announcement. Stay tuned and let the speculation begin!
The speculation has already began. The continuation of the Resident Evil series? Super Ultra Mega Street Fighter IV Turbo? PlayStation LifeStyle can’t wait for the announcement, can you?
The company’s next blockbuster release is monster-packed Lost Planet 2 which is poised for a May 18th release.

It could very well be the next DMC…just as long as it is actually a “huge announcement” and not another disappointing announcement like that new magazine we heard about a couple weeks ago that was supposed to be exciting news

Well the first Lost Planet port for the PS3 definately doesn’t fit that category
I could sure go for another Resident Evil game, if they put some HORROR back into it.
well JackC8 they could try making it more like Resi 4, bringing back the zombies along with the scariest enemies, Nemesis, Dr.Salvador, the regenerator and the Iron Maiden those four were all creepy.
I’m guessing it’s RE PSP that was announced at E3 last year.
I hope it’s RE6, doubtful though, I played 1-4 then didn’t even bother with 5. It wasn’t even the same
game imho.

I was actually thinking about well wishing that there would be a new RES this year or possibly next year, Oh god I hope they go back to the old classic RES day’s, Lot’s of Zombie’s & what not & in a ruined city, Resident Evil 6 please Capcom

Well, I’d have to ask exactly “where” this announcement would be considered big. Monster Hunter Tri coming to other platforms might be big in Japan, for instance. That UK magazine launch tease was just sad…
