UK Charts: Aliens Vs Predator is the Fastest Selling Game of 2010
After numerous weeks of dominating sales charts, Modern Warfare 2 has finally slipped outside the top 5, while Just Dance is still dancing in a comfortable position. Last week Mass Effect 2 was thrown off the top spot with BioShock 2 drilling all the way to the top. This week sees a shocking entrance, as despite the harsh reception from critics, Aliens vs Predator has shot its way into the latest UK Charts, and in doing so, creates a record.
Rebellion’s shooter has become the fastest selling game so far in 2010 by taking first position in the UK Charts revealed today by Chart Track, and publishers Sega certainly acknowledge the announcement. AvP’s reign sees 2K Marin’s BioShock 2 drop to third, while Modern Warfare 2 drops down to sixth and FIFA 10 re-enters the top five. Last week’s UK charts can be viewed here.
