[UPDATE #2]

It seems as though owners of 120GB/250GB “slim” PS3 model are able to connect to the PlayStation Network. The problem appears to be isolated to the original “fat” PS3 models.

this statement is complete bull I’ve tried both my “fat” PS3 and 250GB “slim” PS3 and they both don’t connect

And IT BEGINS…. I knew someone would bring up the old RRoD. Frustrated so let’s find something to say about MS although Sony is the one causing you the headache.

Well, since you brought it up, MS’s RRoD issue is even more of a testament to Sony’s failure. I mean Sony should have blown MS out of the water given their lead in the console war with the PS2, their dominance and the fact that MS was a straight up rookie in the console gaming arena when they entered in 2000. That just proves that against all these odds MS has obviously done something right and Sony has done a lot wrong.

Sony had everything going for them. And to give up first place the way they did was like an NFL team being up 42-0 at the half and still losing the game…

Oops got to go, got another MULTIPLAYER match on Xbox Live coming up.

Btw…. There’s a good episode of Family Guy on tonight. Maybe you can watch that while you wait for Sony to get their heads out of their butts…

im playing all my games on another ps3 online or off they work fine there is no conspiracy just the ps3 with date prob not the server we all know that genious. at least its not redeye right xbox fans lol

Sure and your money will be with Sony when they start charging for their service and trust me, they will charge. If you can’t scrape up 13 cents a day, then you don’t deserve to play Xbox Live. And btw, this wasn’t just a downed server buddy.

I’ll check in with you guys after I finish a little MULTIPLAYER Modern Warfare2 on Xbox Live.

everything is still on your name on the psn i already went to diff ps3 and loged on my name and everything is fine all tropheys are there under the name so when they fix it all should be back all servers go down even ones you pay for so forking out money for the same thing and buying all new stuff seems a little stupid ive played xbox it still lags even though my freind paid to play my money is with sony

Just stating the obvious… This would never happen with Xbox Live because they’ve obviously spent the time and MONEY on securing against this type of unexceptable stuff.

Don’t take your frustrations out on me, take them out on Sony, they’re the ones screwing you not me. I’d be pissed too if I lost my achievements. God know you work hard for them.

Like I said, you get what you pay for. You pay nothing and right now, YOU GOT NOTHING. Something like this was bound to happen sooner or later.

oh btw if anyone has MAG that is in SVER or needs help in a game like RE5 hook me up and we’ll get you the trophies you need my PSN ID is the same thing im using on here right now *sigh* hopefully this is fixed soon ive been hearing that it will be back and running again tomorrow morning but i cant confirm that so sorry guys ill try to as much updates as i can and let you now from there but for now all we can really do is just be patient
