BioShock 2 Drills in 3 Million Units Sold

03/05/2010 Written by Dan Massi

BioShock 2 had mixed reaction when it was first revealed. Groups were divided up, with one side saying the game did not need a sequel, and the other excited for the eventual return to Rapture. Well, it seems like the other side was the majority, as Take-Two has announced BioShock 2′s sale figures.

Since its release in early February of this year, BioShock 2 has managed to sell over 3 million units. While lifetime sales of the franchise have exceeded 7 million. DLC for the title has been recently revealed, though no exact release date was confirmed.
