With all of the buzz that God of War III has generated, it’s only natural for PS3′s front man, Kevin Butler to chime in. Indeed the Ghost of Sparta does truly exemplify the “It Only Does Everything” slogan. Check the latest God of War III ads after the jump.

These commercials are hilarious. Kudos to Sony for their marketing efforts over the past few months.
Honest opinion….LAME.
I don’t understand how a crappy game like Dante’s Inferno gets an epic Marketing campaign, while a Master Piece such as God of War 3 get this crap.
TheHater, that’s b/c GoW3 doesn’t need an epic marketing campaign, b/c it already has customers that have gotten the first 2 games. They will get it b/c they love the first 2, not so much Dante’s Inferno b/c it was a new IP. It’s the numbers man. And I promise you if the pre-orders were LOW, they would be pounding the media markets right now….but since i PROIMISE you they are not…they are probably not going to pound the media so much saying buy me buy me buy me….b/c we already are buying it.
Don’t you want people who have never played a God of War game see how epic God of War 3 is to be WOWed by it? This ad do not do the game justice. Hell, I actually think the European one is 10 times better than the US one.
EPIC games deserve an EPIC ad campaign.
People that have never played the game have friends or family that have, and with great ad campaigns come great price hikes I bought GOW 3 for 59.99 and skipped Dantes Inferno that sells in my area for ten dollars more (I already have 100% of the trophies for it anyway). From what i’ve played I already love GOW 3′s first level more then the over priced and under thought out Dantes disapointment, I don’t play commercials after…
lol that was a awesomely funny commercial; that was my expected reaction when l get to play it
like he said, it just doesn’t need it TheHater…if someone owns a PS3 and doesn’t know about God of War or isn’t planning on getting it, then they don’t deserve to own a PS3 and someone should kick them in the balls and take it from them
I don’t know about you guys, but I liked the first ad commercial. Not what I expected it would be, but not disappointing either. Hell, I found it hilarious, because that’s EXACTLY how I would be if I were playing the game. Ignoring everyone. It’s a plain and simple commercial. If you’re playing God of War III, then the world is dead to you, doesn’t need an introduction.

Forget the neigh sayers. This commercial is gold. We’ll see who’s made a better choice next week when they release the figures. If they’re terrible, I’m sure sony will drop everything to hire you for their next public message.

i love both ads, & yes PS3 owners do know about Kratos, i bought the console because of Kratos, yet all ads are most welcome just for the fun LOL!

you really dont have to sell some tittles. God Of War is up there with stull like Madden , where all a commercial has to say is “Its dropping on this date come get it” and it will sell
that’s a common scenario in my house, lol.
When you look up ‘win’ in the dictionary now, you will notice the definition has been changed to ‘Kevin Butler’.
