It’s a built-in rechargeable battery! In your face, Nintendo!

SO underrated.

It uses the same voltage as the DualShock 3 so that means they will be charged via mini-USB connector. PlayStation MOVE FTW!

I wonder if David Jaffe thinks Nintendo should send a letter to SONY.

so it’s going to use to controllers?

Unfortunately I think SONY is going to struggle making this MOVE gizmo a success. Especially now with the delay putting it head to head with NATAL We’ve already witnessed the marketing power of Natal just from last year’s E3.

i wonder how much youll actually need to play games… obviously we need a pseye, but am i going to need 2 moves and a sub just to play one game? are some games going to require 2 moves and some require a move and a sub or can i possibly get away with just one move? im interested to see just how much this is going to cost me if i want to play to the full advantage of these motion controllers.

Thank God they got rid of that s***ty prototype from E3 2009 and re-invented it. Oh, wait… Nevermind.

I am waiting for release and then will have depending on cost more than one and sub controller. Does the sub controller come with the original Move controller similar to the Nintendo set-up??? For example are the sold as a pair or separately, I have a PS3 Eye already so I have to know this information… I know it will come in time… But if anybody knows this now it will reduce my lack of knowledge…

@SPD55 and everyone else, c’mon guys you’re smarter than this… The Move and the sub are definitely gonna come packaged together along with the PSEye in one expensive package. Then the Move and Sub will either come stand alone or together but the cost of those shouldn’t be more than $60-$70 bucks. And until we actually get a good five or six Move enabled games reviewed we won’t be able to pass judgement on this thing objectively. Remember the PS3 launch anyone? And now look at our console. Night and day. I got faith in Sony, I know you guys do to. Oh and P.S. If anyone @ Sony is reading this, please change that name back to Arc. Please.

@SilentThunder
I agree with you man, you couldn’t have said it any better.
Although the name to “Move” was probably used to keep it simple and attract the attention of the casual market.

I don’t hate the new name &
@ Jeneric.
Read your post while taking an ignorant view, it’s hilarious!

I don’t think Move will have any problems competing against Natal…For one, the setup for Move is more intuitive simply because in every game you play the character is usually holding something in their hand so it will make for a more realistic experience. Two, maybe Natal is a little more innovative, but people don’t like what they don’t understand…right now I think a large portion of the casual market will still feel it is too futuristic and will stick with something they understand which has been established by Nintendo, but of course Sony is going to do it WAY better!
