Spider-Man Spins a New Dimension

03/17/2010 Written by Kerveen Flores

Spider-Man games have not exactly been stellar as of late, just ask Activision CEO Bobby Kotick. We certainly hope Activison will think of new ways to make Spider-Man games more appealing and worthy of our hard earned money. It seems as though we’ll find out their plans for the web-slinging franchise soon enough…

The cover of the April issue of GamePro magazine was recently unveiled and if you can stop trying to read the words on Sam Fisher’s face for just a second, you can spot the top of the magazine teases a new Spider-Man game titled Spider-Man: Shattered Dimensions.

What is this game about? We don’t know, but you can soon find out when GamePro’s April issue ships this week and will be on newsstands early April.

After the last Batman game blew up now other comic book heroes and fans are excited about being the next blockbuster comic book related game. Their also had been a spark in the cartoon movie industry but directed towards the adults that were part of the comic book craze when people use to actually collect them before live action blockbuster like the first Batman opening the door for other comic book heroes. I have high hopes for this title but because of the success of the Spiderman movie and all the games that followed on the PS2 that werent that good, I really don’t see what direction game developers could go that would be as revolutionary as the Batman AA title.

  2. when it comes to DC content, Marvel is second. spiderman movies and games suck. if it wasn’t for iron man almost all Marvel movies would be disappointments. props to Iron Man and Blade. wolvermine was terrible by the way. this would not be worth the money. oh yeah by the way the new Splinter Cell doesn’t look as good as everyone says it does. it brings nothing to the table its all been done, he can climb walls well guess what so do a couple dozen other games nothing fancy in my book

Dude I’m a DC only fan as well when it comes to comics. While I must admit I did enjoy some Marvel brand movies, I don’t go near any of their comics. Unfurtunately for this new spiderman game. I don’t have any high hopes for it.
