Uncharted 2 Steals the Show, Again
Most of you already know this, but Uncharted 2: Among Thieves is a great game, one of the best ones ever made. Its been cleaning up the awards ever since its release. Naughty Dog is most likely out of room on their trophy case, so, lets add a few more. The awards show this time was the annual BAFTA awards and though Drake didn’t walk away with the grand prize, he didn’t go home empty handed either.
The big shocker of the entire shows comes with Batman: Arkham Asylum taking home Best Game over Uncharted 2. This is not to say that Batman AA was not a good game because it was, and deserves some of the limelight as well. However, Uncharted 2 did take home Best Original Score, Best Use of Audio, Best Action Game and Best Story. The above mention Batman took home Best Game and Best Gameplay while LittleBigPlanet took home the award for best handheld title.

Im not surprised that this game got so many rewards but there is also so many other good games and batman was excellent.
Not really a surprise that a game made by a British Studio won GotY from BAFTA.

Media Molecule, another British Studio, won it in 2009. They actually deserved it though.

Not saying Batman: Arkham Asylum didn’t deserve a win. Just that ‘The British Academy of Film and Television Arts’ will always favor British studios much like The Academy Awards and Hollywood.
UC2 needs a special award for being the BALLS. This games deserves all these awards and more.

So they only won becasue their british and the orginsation is british? Your forgetting Naughty Dog still won four awards. Their not favouring british studios when most of the people who won were either americans or british people recieving awards for american studios,
your forgetting that most of these companies like Nintendo have a british and american studio.
im not caring too much abt BAFTA.cuz they gave hurt locker a best movie award instead of Avatar.and now batman agnst UC2.british r nuts.
and im also shocked when gamespot gave demon souls game of the year award.u ever heard abt this game b4

uc2 should have won, like avatar should have won. Can anyone tell me that the multi platform batman is a better game?

That really doesn’t make sense if Uncharted 2 won best Action Game over Batman, then it should have also won game of the year. Not that I even care about the BAFTA awards, really…
