Even though the game was only just officially revealed this past week, the next installment in the Call of Duty franchise developed by Treyarch, Call of Duty: Black Ops is already available for pre-order.
Details about Call of Duty: Black Ops are scares currently as the game was just announced. One thing we do know for sure is that the game is pegged for a November, 9 2010 release date. Apparently, that is all the world’s largest online retailer, Amazon.com, needs to know to begin offering pre-orders on the 7th installment of Call of Duty.
Amazon’s price is the normal suggested retail price of $59.99 so don’t expect any savings… yet. Lately, the online retailer has been offering $10 and $20 credits on some of the year’s biggest releases including Red Dead Redemption, Madden NFL 11 and more. Last year’s Call of duty, Modern Warfare 2 also featured a $10 credit, so it wouldn’t be a surprise to us if Black Ops got some type of pre-order credit deal revealed for it before launch.
Those of you who pre-order Call of Duty: Black Ops now will be eligible for any price reductions, credits, or pre-order goodies that Amazon offers leading up until the game’s launch in November. Amazon is just good like that.
Amazon is also good for getting your pre-ordered games to you on release date. Just select the release date delivery option at checkout and you’ll be sure to get the game the day it comes out, delivered to your doorstep.
What are you waiting for, head on over to Amazon.com now and pre-order your copy of Call of Duty: Black Ops.

i am sure it is!
For some reason – I’m not looking forward to it.
I’ll pass on buying it this time around, MW2 just didn’t cut it for me. I’ll rent it for sure for the SP. I’m looking forward to Socom 4 in October.
this is just absurd. Having a sequel pumped out that quickly just screams cookie cutter gaming. I’m sure that theres a complete lack of innovation or creativity, its just new skins slapped on the MW2 engine, like what WaW did to Cod4. Not that I wasn’t going to pass any way on the next one, but the fact that they are pumping it out this quick is all the more reason to not get it – you can already tell the level of effort being put into it.
Ya know what Military FPS I’m looking forward to this year? The New Medal of Honor!! Hear me out guys, the new MOH is going to rock.
@Bigwoop
Absurd? You know each company worked on the games staggered, so it seemed like a year but they had 2 years to make each game right? That sounds like good business to me, not everyone is going to want to play the same game for a year. And 2 years is a good amount of time to make a game, not everyone wants to wait years and years for a “perfect” game when they can have something fairly well made and still fun.
Hm I would think it would take from the concept of the franchise. Not so much speaking of innovation, but it just seems to soon. They are fresh off the heels of their other game, I’m assuming there will be another DLC for Modern Warfare in between this time. Just seems to be a bit early, but then again like the above poster states. Some people like that.
To be honest I still having trouble finishing the rest of my games. Hell I just finished Darksiders lol. Now I’m on God of War and Nier. Personally I’m more of a Socom type of guy. Just something about the single player that just does it for me…you know. Truthfully there are honestly to many FPS coming out in a small time frame. what, Socom, Crisis, This one…and I’m sure there is another…to many at one time.
I guess you could have said that about the Rpg’s on the PS2, but hopefully they will meld the story and the action together in a more cohesive tone.
I doubt it but hey. I’m not an Activision kind of guy. I mean no disrespect to them but their games are a bit underrated. The last one I played from them was ghostbusters…and that was a great game, buggy as hell but great. Oh and don’t forget Halo…seriously lol it is not a good year to be developing cookie cutter shooters…
@Graey…… I don’t know about you but the ending to Darksiders was so annoying. okay now let’s make you run back through the entire map to find these pieces and cause we wasted your time we will make your final boss battle easy to beat. I liked it and all but not a way to end a game
im gonna preorder this so i can shyt on it release day
I might get it but i might not because i dont want to enterfear with my morder warfare2 skills.if theyre same controlls im getten it!
