The two-part, PlayStation Network exclusive episodic game Blade Kitten may not even be out yet, but that hasn’t stopped Krome Studios planning even more for the comic based franchise. Talking to PlayStation LifeStyle in an extensive interview, Steve Stamatiadis, Co-Founder and Creative Director of Krome Studios, explained the developer’s upcoming plans for the series he created, and gave an insight into what gamers can expect from further titles based on the Blade Kitten universe.
When asked about future plans for Blade Kitten, Stamatiadis told PSLS:
Currently we’re finishing up episode one for release, working on episode 2 and planning another Blade Kitten release. Have to keep things moving.
Down the track we’re looking into some content for Home and definitely some downloadable costumes to purchase for use in game.
When asked to clarify what he meant by “another Blade Kitten release”, he continued:
The Blade Kitten universe is pretty big and there’s a wealth of possibilities for other characters adventures in future games. It’s always been bigger than just Kit’s Adventures but she was the best place to introduce the audience to the universe.
Stay tuned to PlayStation LifeStyle for the entire interview with Steve ‘Space Captain’ Stamatiadis soon.
I knew that they were going to do a 2 part series for a while now. All I want to know is the release date. Any and all information other than that is completely useless to me at this stage. Pricing confirmation would be nice. I think it’s 15 dollars for the first release of about 8 hours of gameplay, and another 10 for another 4-6 but I could be wrong. I expect to spend about 25 dollars, but if it’s a good platformer that’s worth it, then ya…
I’m enjoying what I’ve seen so far from the setting and characters and the videos I’ve seen. It’s been an interest since I stumbled across it one random day on game trailers.
never even heard of this…?
