First ‘Epic’ Bulletstorm Trailer and New Screens

Tanya Jessen, producer at Epic Games, recently stated that the first official trailer for their upcoming shooter, Bulletstorm, would make its debut today. She wasn’t lying, as the new trailer has arrived along with some brand new screenshots – check out the ‘epic’ trailer below:
Bulletstorm is currently scheduled for a released during early 2011.

Looks kind of meh. The characters didn’t really look up to current gen standards, the environments were pretty ordinary, and the on-screen text announcing what you’ve scored with each kill destroys the immersion. Hopefully it has a really good story and really good voice acting, and some cool gameplay features. Otherwise it’s looking like a skip at this point.
I don’t know, its not doing anything for me.
Just looks like a big UT3 mod and not that interesting.
gee, ANOTHER over the top FPS……some of the kills were pretty sweet, other than that, look bland

Lol…dude get out of my mind…:D I couldn’t have said it better. Seriously what’s up with the floating txt, hopefully that is optional. The characters seemed kind of plastic. Hm…when does this game come out? Hopefully they have another 6 months maybe to do something about that..I read the story behind this game. It seemed interesting, but after watching the trailer I’m not at all impressed.
I just can’t understand how someone can make a crappy game not realizing that its crappy…like for instance Damnnation. At any point in the development cycle did they not realize that game was just plain crap. I don’t know just seems like a waste of time, money and resources.
i cant believe people are calling it a crappy game when they have never played it! haha dumb as fuck its by EPIC GAMES oh ya know gears of war? its pretty early in production stages first trailer out so im sure the graphics arnt reeady to buy ya know? the text on screen is prolly a demo so maybe play a demo or something before you say a game sucks haha
The way I see it, it looks like Borderlands on steroids. If this is Co-op game, then I can see how this might be successful. I’m definitely interested in this and I’ll be keeping an open mind as I get more information.
So developed on the 360 and ported? ….because it sure looks that way.

I dont have to play it to look at it and see it looks like some UT3 glorified mod and something I dont find interesting. Its an opinion.
@Ran – There will be no co-op, they said this flat out in a GI interview.
@JackC8 – If you played borderlands, you’ll realize that its just something you get used to (seeing the numbers and text). All of that is for their combo system, which is supposed to be one of the unique things in the game. Sure you can go through and just shoot everyone like a regular shooter, but the real idea is to do combo kills for points, that let you upgrade your stuff. For example, you can shoot one of those grenade chains (shown at the end of the trailer) at a guy (points), kick him into a group of enemies, and detonate it, getting a chain of point for the unique multiple kills. They described numerous situations, saying that theres at least 100 different unique kills that can all be combined together. It sounds fun to me. Also, hey, unique weapons mixes up the gameplay, like that electric whip thing that can pull people towards you, or be slammed into the ground to launch people in the air.
If it is co-op like BorderLands then I will definitely pick this up. The NIN soundtrack hyped me too I must admit. But that’s my weak spot so they sold one copy at least LOL
The game looks pretty cool , people cant be saying so many bad things about it because they havent even played it, im hopeing it does come out very well when they finish it , im thinking of getting it
