The most interesting aspect of the upcoming Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood isn’t the fact that Ubisoft is somehow pumping out yet another AC game a year after the release of Assassin’s Creed 2, but the fact that the game contains a multiplayer mode. Fans and non-fans of the series alike have been wondering how exactly it will translate to the AC universe, seeing as how the gameplay has a very unique feel to it. Wonder no more as Ubisoft has fantastic news for all of you Assassin’s Creed lovers out there!
During the fiscal year 2009-2010 report, Ubisoft has confirmed that Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood will be receiving a beta before the title snaps your neck this fall. No further details were discussed, such as how the beta will be distributed or a tighter release date were given. However, seeing as how E3 is just around the corner, it’s safe to say that we might be hearing more about it then.
Assassin’s Creed 2 was one of the hottest titles of 2009 so here’s to hoping that Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood which continues Ezio’s epic story against the Templars this fall isn’t a rushed project to cash in on the franchise
I have mixed feelings about this game – I kinda lost interest half way through AC2, though this was mainly due to the release of BattleField Bad Company 2 and my love of shooters.
Now saying that I love playing online, the interaction with other gamers and the random moments that can occur in multiplayer games is something that you cannot recreate in a campaign or single player mode.
And for that reason I’m in!
Bring it on – multiplayer Assassins Creed will be fun – maybe a bit clunky who knows but I wanna play it…
I’d like to try it out – I really enjoyed AC2, although there were a few things I felt it was missing, primarily, a cover system to help with sneaking up on people. What kind of Assassin just stands up all the time like “hey, look at me!” I think any form of multiplayer will have to include that component, but I’m really curious about what else they come up with to make it fun. Tell me how to sign up and I’m in!
Meh.
I’ve lost all faith in Ubisoft with the removed chapters in AC2 as DLC.
Hopefully this beta wins me over just like U2′s did.
l always felt Assassins’ Creed should have had multiplayer co-op
