40 Ninjas and 18 Levels Summoned for Ultimate Ninja Storm 2

05/27/2010 Written by Jonathan Leack

A few months ago it was announced that a sequel to the unique and gratifying 2008 title Ultimate Ninja Storm title is in the works. Naruto fans everywhere have been craving for more information regarding the upcoming title, but little has been said or shown. Thankfully new details from a GameStop leak have surface which should satisfy the Naruto fans, or at least for a while.

According to details on GameStop’s NARUTO SHIPPUDEN: Ultimate Ninja Storm 2 page, the title will include over 40 characters and 18 levels. To top that off, the game will also include the following:

Deep three part Story mode than can be played over and over – Each mode will allow the players to live the action from the point of view of one of the three main characters, offering completely different experiences

Ultimate Ninja Storm 2 may very well be the first proper Naruto game on any platform. While Naruto has appeared on the Wii, GameCube and more, none of the titles have particularly stood out. The lengthy Story mode coupled with dozens of playable characters should provide a true ninja experience for fans.

Maybe those DBZ games should learn a thing or two from this series

this is awesome. l wish it said which story it goes up to but l hope it goes up to Pain. With 40 characters the chances of pain are highly likely :D

  3. TheHater says:

So far, it look like it is going past the Pain arc which is a very good thing. Just look at those DBZ games, just making each PS2 version into HD and calling it a new game.

  4. Pain and Sage Naruto have been confirmed.

you forget that the story mode was done YEARS ago on DBZ.. all they can do is go back and tweek it. This is the first of the series.

I love the first one, just was missing online multiplayer and that game could have had a way long lifespan.

You are joking right? Each year the release a “new” DBZ game and call it new when it is not. Why not just remake the last DBZ game on the PS2 with all the character and add online? That is what is pissing me of with DBZ games. The are abusing that series and it fans. Thank god I haven’t purchased a DBZ game in almost 5 years

  8. @TheHater…… I’m a huge DBZ fan and I’m insulted by the games Namco releases and I just saw the last DBZ game on DS its pathetic they have seriously killed the franchise. I have always stated I wanted the franchise in a different developers hands something new. always wondered how it would play if it was somewhat like marvel vs capcom…

in this new naruto ultimate ninja storm 2 the story will go all the way until pein distrioys the hidden leaf because sage naruto will apear. and really u guyz the only thing that is wrong with the DBZ games is that they have taken it too far. they make at least 2 to 3 DBZ games a year what they need to do is stop making them for at least 3 years because each game is the same exact thing as the last one and to tell u the truth they arent that good at making DBZ games. my favorite one was budakai 3 on ps2 and the ones on ps3 suck ass. i luv DBZ but the games arent worth the money i say if they make another one it should cost $35.00.
