PlayStation Home Community Manager CydoniaX has just revealed that users of the ever-growing social network will be in for quite an interesting week.
This Tuesday, June 1st will usher in the release of PlayStation Home Core Client Update v1.36 following a brief period of downtime around 2am PST/5am EST the same day. There’s no word yet on exactly what this update will bring, but it will more than likely focus on bug fixes with the possibility of some minor cosmetic tweaks and feature changes. There have been numerous bugs and glitches plaguing several aspects of the Home experience since the initial release of v1.30 and have yet to be fixed, most notably the issue which causes Central Plaza to completely freeze your PS3 upon entry and some game-breaking bugs which actually require that the user delete Home altogether and re-install it. Will some of these be resolved in this latest update? We sure hope so.
Patch notes are scheduled to go live this Monday night before the publish and you can bet we’ll have them right here for your viewing pleasure. Are there any changes that you Home users out there are anticipating? Let us know in the comments below!
will this effect SCEE too?
Will this effect Home Improvement is the REAL question!
I think that’s Home Improvement.
There are a couple of things I would like fixed…
- The Hotshots Golf Survey in the SCEA region to finally be fixed
- The Bed’s & lounge Seating to be fixed so we can lay on them instead of sitting on the side or front of them
- The Ability to fullscreen the screen in the Movie Theater in sitting postion from any seat in the theater
- The Teak Wooden Bed being able to be used in the Harbor Studio
- Changing the Name of the Echochrome Table & Echochrome Guy statue from “Need’s Localization” to whatever there names are
& Finally
– Changing the name of all the Natural Wood Furniture from Shelf 01 & Couch 02 to Natural Wood Shelf, Natural Wood Couch etc…etc…etc…
I think only the 1st three would *possibly* change with a client core update & I doubt any of these are a real priority so I doubt any of these things would be included.
Looking forward to the update.
+1 for home improvement girl reference, the logo on the shirt sealed the deal, well done.
will these bugs be fixed ? you’ll have to wait and see ?
seriously , these are major bugs and they still don’t know if the patch will actually fix them ?
why even release it if they don’t know – that’s what happened with version 1.30 , it was put out without testing and knowing it worked and caused problems and now they’re releasing another untested patch that could make it worse .
I deleted home in march because it kept freezing and needing to be deleted/reinstalled and until they can assure users it’s really patched and doesn’t have more or different issues won’t bother .
Yup Home Always freezez my ps3
