Calling All Heroes! DC Universe Online Gets Release Date

After being in development for over five years, DC Universe Online lets you join the ranks of super heroes later this year.

That’s right folks. Start suiting up in your spandex and capes because DC Universe Online is flying into a Metropolis near you this November to your PS3 and PC. Sony Online Entertainment showed off a demo of the game at a Pre-E3 event this week. In the game you create your own character to traverse the world while meeting the likes of Superman, The Joker, General Zod, and even Green Arrow. You can even decide if you want to serve the light of justice or the darkness of chaos and anarchy.

What will you choose? Better hurry up, because November will sneak up on you faster than The Flash.

    Can’t wait. Except for the PC part of it, but atleast they aren’t holdin us back graphically wise. Hopefully.

    I’m hopeful, maybe a little naive that they won’t charge a monthly fee for this game. After all it is an MMO, and it is by SOE, which has paid monthly subscriptions to their games. If this game does great with reviewers I guess I don’t mind paying. I’m a huge DC fan, but so far I’ve been hearing that the combat leaves something to be desired in this game.

    i think November 1st is the exact date cuz i work at gamestop :( and it says nov. 1st is the date. also i played the demo at e3 and it was pretty awesome. i cant wait. and there are also multiple editions like a hero edition and i think villain edition, but well see
