Arguably there are only a few solid fighters out in the market with the Fight Night franchise being the ‘king of the ring’, ‘knocking out’ every game that dares to challenge its impressive reign. THQ’s UFC Undisputed series is the most worthy contender entering the fighting genre in recent history. However, now EA Sports are deep in development with creating an MMA game that uses the Fight Night engine. EA’s brutal MMA fighting game has finally been given a release date.

At the Electronic Arts press conference, Peter Moore, stressed that EA Sports will ensure that their MMA game will be the best game on the market. The highly anticipated title will come out on October 19th, for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.

EA Sports’ MMA title strikes a few similarities to UFC Undisputed 2010, but never the less, this recently showcased game looks like a solid fighter which gamers should be looking forward to. Check out the whole batch of screenshots for the title.
