Blur was a great racing game in its own right, however it released against stiff competition from other racers such as Disney Interactive’s Split Second and Sony’s ModNation Racers. In a market flooded with extraordinary racers, and many PS3 owners specifically waiting for Gran Turismo 5, it appears that Blur didn’t perform as well as Activision had hoped. Their loss is your gain, as Blur is a fantastic game and now can be had for half the price.
Race on over to Amazon.com now and take advantage of today’s Deal of the Day which has Activision’s Blur for a mere $29.99. That’s half off the original retail price and one hell of a steal for a recently released game if I do say so myself.
This deal is for today only, so act fast, and grab your copy of Blur from Amazon at this greatly reduced price while it lasts.
Good news PSP/PS3 owners in the US, ESRB has rated more PSone classics although they’re not true classics, they are “A Bug’s Life” and “Toy Story Racer”. Hopefully some of you have enjoyed them back in the day.
could have SWORN… it was because bestbuy had a deal, with a coupon for RZ members, and with a manufacture coupon which lowered the game to 10 usd + tax… which since blur had a 30 usd trade in value at the time… many people traded it into amazon giving them a surplus which since they got so many it needed to be price to move =P
but then again perhaps it really is “average” to blame over flood of coupons =P
I got this game at Best Buy for $11 and change with coupons
Think I’ll save my money for F1 2010 and then that other little racing game that comes out a month after that
