Gran Turismo 5 3D Discussions Started Years Ago

Years in development, Gran Turismo 5 is finally racing towards a November 2nd, 2010 release date. Aside from Polyphony Digital being a team of perfectionists, one of the reasons fans had to wait so long for even a concrete release date was because of the integration with 3D, a technology that Sony is fully embracing now. Polyphony Digital boss, Kazunori Yamauchi, has stated that 3D discussions for the PlayStation 3 exclusive title began years ago.

Don’t Expect Any Heavy Rain DLC Soon

During Sony’s E3 press conference, a healthy portion of the presser was spent talking about their motion controller, PlayStation Move, and what games would be capable with it. One of the games was confirmed to be Heavy Rain. Now, apparently, Quantic Dream has put the second DLC in the Heavy Rain Chronicles on hold, to allow for greater focus on the upcoming Move aspect of the game.

Dead Nation Gets Detailed

Announced back at GamesCom 2009, Dead Nation is a downloadable title exclusively on the PlayStation 3, which features the most zombies than any other zombie game in existence. Quantum Theory E3 Impressions

Its been a bit of a roller coaster ride for Tecmo Koei and Quantum Theory, from PS3 exclusive to Multiplatform and multiple delays in between. With the game surely soon to be released, PlayStation LifeStyle got a hands on with the game at this years E3 and despite its few differences, this really is a Gears of War of a different color. Sadly though, it doesn’t look to be the blockbuster that Gears is, but check out below for our full impressions.
