“Uncharted III” Appears on Facebook, Sadly it’s Fan Made [Update]
After the astounding, industry-defining success the award-winning Uncharted 2 had just last year, fans are craving more of Nathan Drake and his treasure hunting adventures. According to a Facebook page, which just popped up today, it may be “coming soon” or is it?
A Facebook page for Uncharted III has appeared out of nowhere, only showing what would seem to be a teaser image displaying the game’s logo.
Don’t get your hopes up too fast, as it’s been confirmed to be nothing more than fan art. We thought we’d let you know before speculation ran wild.
[Update] Naughty Dog themselves have now chimed in via Twitter reasserting that it’s indeed fan art:
“It’s just fan-created, not an official Naughty Dog/SCEA page + we haven’t made any announcements.”

lol I “Liked” that page and saw that pic this mornin. Looks kinda fishy to me.
I like the uncharted and the coming soon part of the logo, but the 3 looks awful…
Yeah the 3 is weird. This isn’t Jurassic Park.
for a minute I thought it was confirmed. even though its not official, I’m sure we all know its coming. can’t wait for it. wonder where they’ll take it to next.
they just need to announce it already uncharted 3 is coming and every one knows it. the voice actor already said he was doing voice over work with uncharted 3.
Uncharted 3 is going to be made eventually. It would be really stupid of Naught Dog if they didn’t make it
I think Uncharted 3 will be coming out around the same time the Uncharted movie debuts.

I wouldn’t be surprised if Philip Morris made that page, as the logo looks similar to a cigarette. The III is curved suspiciously and they have been doing stuff like this for years to get kids hooked.

Not a conspiracy theorist. Really I’m not. (maybe a little)
they are making this game it’s just that their not releasing it any time soon, Naughty Dog aren’t dumb enough to start telling people to except Uncharted 3 becasue let’s face it then everyone would be pissed off when it didn’t get a 2011 release, I’d say mid 2012 at the earliest.
