LittleBigLimbo: Limbo Recreated in LBP

If you own a Xbox 360, you owe it to yourself to play the recent XBLA Summer of Arcade release, Limbo, developed by Playdead. The game’s spooky black and white art style play the perfect backdrop to some of the best puzzles in recent memory.

This post however, isn’t about Limbo, it’s about LittleBigPlanet and is a perfect example of just how robust the creator tools are when placed in the hands of a talented, creative individual. LBP user Bra2008 has recreated Limbo in LittleBigPlanet. This creation captures the art style, the lighting, the main-character, the puzzles – pretty much everything – perfectly.

    This is really cool! Too bad I just sold my LBP copy in preparation for LBP2 in a few months.

  3. Now thats impressive. I can’t imagine what other games can be recreated in LBP2. Stuff like this is why LBP2 is a day one purchase for me.

    Very cool. I’ve always loved the community levels in LBP. I still get on every couple weeks just to play.

    LBP is one of if not the most groundbreaking titles ever. Levels like this continue to prove it. I can’t wait for part 2 only the PS3 could have a game this innovative and entertaining.

    Limbo is the perfect game to recreate in LBP.. side scrolling puzzle, the guy did a great job.
