The legendary Medal of Honor series is back, refreshed and ready to take on the stiff competition that currently makes up the crowded FPS genre. With heavy hitters of the Modern Warfare type presently reigning supreme, this definitely won’t be an easy task, however offering a pretty snazzy Limited Edition that also grants future beta access to a completely different, yet equally anticipated title certainly won’t hurt.
In addition to the extra goodies such as special “weapons, powerful ammunition and camouflage”, the Limited Edition pack will eventually bestow upon its owners an invitation to participate in the Battlefield 3 beta. There’s no word one exactly when the beta will drop, however EA was kind enough to narrow it down to a 12 month window following the release of MOH. Thanks, guys!
Medal of Honor is slated to appear on North American shelves October 12th and in Europe on the 15th.
So if I pre-order an MW2/BFBC2 look-a-like thats not reportedly as good to begin with and its on EA *cough*crap servers*cough* I can get another game by EA?
Wait, it does sound to good to be true …. or not
it’s just a beta for a game, I seriously doubt it’s a FULL game that also happens to be a beta. they couldn’t pay me to preorder this MoH crap. BFBC2 is/was amazing but from the looks of the beta, this game is just a really weak CoD clone.
This is awesome! I’ve been watching http://enterbf3.com, apparently this isn’t going to be just PC only
. The community really wants a PC exclusive!
Will have to pre-order before October and see if they make the game better than the beta. I had problems with R-1/R-3 melee interfering with weapons when near other players either friendly or foe. Plus I fear that the MoH beta was an Alpha for what they are offering as a new Battlefield offering. Dice/EA have in my opinion been creating paid for beta offerings since BF: 1943 and MoH would be a continuation of that theory since they did not do the complete game and only the MP version. The MP side of the “Frostbite Engine” needs some more tweaking before they can claim game changing technology in my opinion. Plus they claim complete environmental destructibility but they limit that feature to specific areas of maps etc.
MoH is complete trash. This is only a way to atleast get a couple of sales of MoH because everyone is going to want BF3 beta access. Im a huge fan of the BF series but after playing MoH theres no way in hell I am going to buy that game.
I”ll buy it for Medal of Honor Frontlintes being remastered but the beta was alright nothing special played like Bad Company mixed with COD.
Why is everybody bitching over the fucking MOH beta. There’s a reason they call it a beta, you idiots. To fix all the glitches, freezing, etc, etc. So why bitch about it? It makes you more like an idiot, including you Ex President. The game is not out yet and you have no reason to say it’s shit.
SonnyD…yeah dude we all know theres tons of bugs/glitches, AND WE ALL CAN LOOK PAST THOSE. We are talking about the actual CORE GAMEPLAY that is complete shit. Only a retard would look at a beta game and see a bug/glitch and say the game sucks.
How is the “core” gameplay shit? Please explain, because the “core” gameplay of many games suck right out. But they were still fucking fun.
Tell me, Dumpweed. What “core” gameplay do you find awesome? I bet I can put it down with my critic side and still find it fun.
I think we should wait for the final product before judging the game whether its going to be good or bad. You can’t judge a game by a beta unless its an online game only.
This means BF3 will be on consoles as well. RIGHT?!
Gah, this can be settled very simply:
MoH is to much like MW2 and not enough like BC2.
The ONLY reason I would buy this MoH would be to replace the shit-fest that is MW2.
Even though I will happily play BC2 instead of MW2.
So for those who still want to play shitty games like MW2, but don’t want to deal with Activision or a bug’d out Online Multiplayer, feel free to pick up MoH.
You get roughly the same gameplay, without most of the shitty baggage.
That sound about right?
all i can say is (ho ho ho)
