Ubisoft’s Tom Clancy HAWX 2 hasn’t even been released yet, but already, the buzz about this jet-fighter sim is getting a lot of attention. Ubisoft’s arcade fighter is already boasting massive improvements from its predecessor. Meanwhile, some people in Ubisoft have already begun to spin ideas of more tweaks that they would want to see in a future installment of the HAWX series.
While speaking to Strategy Informer, content director Bogdan Bridinel is already anticipating to launch new and ambitious ideas if a “Go” is given for development on HAWX 3.
“A HAWX 3 isn’t in development, but I can say for myself that I do believe I have one in me.
“I don’t know if I’d have enough ideas for a 4th one, but for a 3rd one, at least, I have lots. I don’t know if it will happen, though. We’ll have to see how this one goes, first.”
Bridinel further stated that Microsoft’s and Sony’s motion peripherals had the potential to make an appearance in a next HAWX title.
“We’ll probably look into them (Kinect and Move) in the future, but we will also use them if we find something that makes sense for us. Head tracking with Kinnect (sic) could be one, but, as I said, we haven’t studied it yet.”
HAWX 2 is already looking to push its boundaries with newer game mechanics and an upgraded graphics engine since its previous installment – and from the screenshots that we’ve seen, we can confidently say that the fighter jets look impressive. With these improvements, perhaps a third HAWX game will add even more icing on the cake for you jet jocks.
Get ready to start fueling up your fighters when HAWX 2 takes off this September 3rd.

Never played the first one, but I just might get the second one.
First one was quite boring. I miss Ace Combat =(
hello …
i ONLY played a demo of the 1st one, was ready to buy it, but never got it on a decent low price, for i agree with Meghterb – the 1st 1 wasn’t appealing to me & i’m a big fan of the genre.
I remember playing F22 raptor on PC back then & liked it, I do miss Ace Combat too, i don’t understand why the last versions were ONLY on Xbox & PSP …
I feel H.A.W.X 2 look interesting, sorry for repeating here, but I’m also sad that Stormbirds (Realtime:UK) got canceled.
I want a fast pace, thrilling dog-fight, Ubisoft, please do your best NOW! then we’ll see if a 3rd installment would be worth it.
cheers!
