Executive Producer and writer of the series, Haden Blackman, has always been a figure-head for the series, appearing in non-stop interviews and in magazines talking about his passion for the Star Wars franchise and his love Starkiller and The Force Unleashed series. As of today though, Haden’s passion is going to be looking elsewhere, as he has resigned from LucasArts after being with the company for OVER a decade. The series has lost a ‘Master Jedi’ and it wasn’t those pesky Sith’s fault this time.

Of all the original IPs that Square Enix created during their glory days on the PlayStation 2, none can compare to the greatness that is the Kingdom Hearts series. When the idea for the series was first announced, many passed it off as a crossover that would never work. Little did they know it would become one of the companies most popular franchises ever. The next ‘official’ entry in the series, KH: Birth by Sleep which is actually a prequel to the first game and will (hopefully) explain some of the convaluted storyline of the series. Square Enix isn’t pulling any punches as have recently revealed that KH:BBS will be getting a Special Edition, but it looks like our European mates have the upper hand this time.

Portal 2 Won’t Have 3D, But Valve Teases at the Future

Among the first games shown running on Nintendo’s latest handheld, the Nintendo 3DS was Super Street Fighter IV. Many PlayStation fans were left wondering as to why no PlayStation portable version of SSFIV was announced, seeing as how Capcom put the original Street Fighter IV on the iPhone. Capcom’s Yoshinori Ono revealed to Famitsu why this is so and might prove even further why the PSP 2 needs to happen sooner than later.
