“Claptrap’s New Robot Revolution” Suppressing Borderlands This September
As you may remember, four days back, we reported on a leak that gave away pretty much every piece of information there was about this yet unannounced piece of DLC. It was a fairly monumental leak; you can’t just sweep something as big as an elephant under a rug and forget that it’s there. And so, 2K Games have done the next best thing; they’ve uncovered the elephant and started parading it around outside their offices, or, to bring this disastrous metaphor to an end, they have confirmed that there will be a fourth plundering of downloadable content to sink your thirsty trunk into.
A specific date hasn’t been nailed down but the 20 new missions should arrive at some point in September. Most of the story has already been leaked, but here it is again in slightly different, more official words.
“Claptrap’s New Robot Revolution invites single-player and co-op fans back to try to suppress a deadly Claptrap revolution using one of four infamous vault hunters. The foursome find themselves caught in the crosshairs of a deadly civil war between the Hyperion Corporation’s well-armed armadas and the ever-amassing army of homicidal Claptraps led by one of the most eagerly awaited characters in the franchise’s history – the cunning Ninja Assassin. As vault hunters, players must put aside their past differences with the Hyperion Corporation, namely the organization’s repeated attempts to wipe them from existence. For a hefty payday, they will join forces to help beat down the mechanical uprising and thwart the dastardly kung-fu expert, the Claptrap known only as Ninja Assassin.”

Hell yeah….i cant wait for this to come out.Although people will burn through this cause everyone i see online now has modded weapons and chars…i think it takes the fun out of it being able to kill everything with one shot and not even ever die….

I am looking forward to this. I have been waiting to meet a certain interplanetary ninja assassin claptrap for quite some time now. I have a level 51 Controller/Elemental speced Siren. I am thinking about jumping back into it and leveling up to 61.
“Twenty new missions will be included in the DLC, along with new robot-flavored enemies including Crab-traps, Skag-traps and Raak-traps. Two more skill points can be earned and players can nab an extra three backtrap slots for extra loot carrying fun.”

@AssassinHD – hit me up if you want a partner for hitting that level, I’m gone for the next couple weekends but anytime during the week… And I’m sure I’ll want an excuse to turn off FFXIII, I’m determined to beat it despite my disappointment, and Borderlands will be a welcome break.

I don’t suppose you have Underdome? I want to get through it for the extra skillpoints, but I don’t really feel like running through those arenas alone.
hah…. I do… however I’ve run them all with my siren. underdome is definitely the tedious part in the game, but I have a beserker and a soldier I was working on, both in their 30′s and haven’t finished it. If I host the game, all the enemies will be at that level, and your lvl 51 will mop the floor. Kinda boring, but it gets the job done real quick. otherwise we could do it vice versa (you host) and have a real challenge… but I really wouldn’t want to run through them again unless I’m earning something for one of my characters. PM me on PSN and we can discuss it further, although I’ll be online very little after today until monday night.
