When a new Mortal Kombat was announced shortly before E3, fans of the fighting genre (myself included) screamed like little kids waiting by the local arcade machine, ready to slap down our quarters on the screen to signify that we’ll be playing the winner. In this case, though, we’re all winners, as Ed Boon and his newly formed NetherRealm Studios are cooking up more Kombat for us, and this time the series going back to its gritty, gore-filled roots.
After having some hands-on time with the game at E3, we can confidently say that the Mortal Kombat we grew up loving is back. Even with the addition of these characters, the roster still isn’t half full (or half empty for all you pessimists), and with a slot for DLC characters on the selection screen, we’ll be seeing the introduction of more characters long after the game has been released.

can’t wait for the release.

cheers!
which is it? Cyborg Smoke or Ninja Smoke
Nobody knows which Smoke it is. I hope it is a bit of both.
So is this just characters from the first three MK games? I really like how they are adding classic characters but hope the DLC characters are really worth buying.
