Need For Speed Autolog Trailer Gives New Meaning to ‘Bragging Rights’

08/17/2010 Written by Mike Hartnett

EA has just released the latest trailer for the upcoming and totally revamped Need For Speed: Hot Pursuit and not only does it take bragging rights to a whole new level, it does it with a phenomenal sense of style and flash.

Not only does this new system accurately track each and every aspect of you and your friends’ gameplay, but notifies players when a friend has beaten a particular record or challenge, giving them the opportunity to take the top score right back. This new form of bragging rights adds a lot to what is already looking to be a stellar title.

Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit hits store shelves November 16th, 2010. Be sure to stay tuned to PlayStation LifeStyle for all the latest Need For Speed news and info as it breaks!

A move towards Farmville evilness!? I think so!

(But at least it’s not micro-transactions.)

Need for Speed III was a great game back in the day and this one seems good as well .just wondering if that autolog will do anygood since I don’t have friends that still keep up with NFS.

  3. I always enjoyed that in Burnout Paradise being able to take top times on different streets, and if someone beat you it let you know immediately. Of course, that only worked for the players in the session, this sounds more expansive. cool.

Looked nice, but it won’t be a day-one buy for me.

    hello …

I’m a fan of NFS franchise, I’m a fan of Criterion … Now I have another great game mixing both … so yes this year with so much coolness coming, i’ve developed the Joker smile Syndrome …

    cheers!

Pre-ordered it, and this helps confirm the awesomeness that I already though it would be. My cousin has NFS:Shift, and he recommended it to me a while ago, but I never bit. Getting NFS:Shift for free when I get this helps sweeten the deal. He will LOVE this, until I start whipping his a**. Hopefully some more Facebook integration will be available, so I can smear it all over his wall. :-D
