It’s finally here… the debut episode of our podcast, Cross Game Chat. We apologize for the delay in getting this up but right now you can download episode 1 below. In this inaugural episode, we discuss the latest PlayStation news from the past week including Infamous 2 and Sucker Punch’s decision to change Cole’s look yet again, SEGA’s unfortunate announcements regarding Valkyria Chronicles, and more. Gamescom is the main attraction here, and you can listen in on some interviews direct from the floor show with guest podcaster and resident PSLS interviewer Sebastian Moss. Also, apparently the British are not European. Take a listen below, and let us know what you think!

Great discussions! Good first podcast and I’m looking forward to more. Only one (hopefully) constructive criticism: Two podcasters’ voices were not very clear. Other than that, two thumbs up!
Can I download this directly to my PS3? Downloading it to my PC right now. Give my impression of it when I am finish listen to it. Hope its good

- There was 4 people in this podcast right? It was dominated by 3 speakers while the 4th spoke once in a blue moon. Why have the 4th member of the podcast if he only speak once in a while. I think he need to speak a little more
- Need to work on the audio. At times, there would be a lot of background interference that distort the audio
- Podcast need a better structure. It seems that you guys were all over the place at times. I think you guys should talk about the biggest news of the week first rather than the middle of the podcast. Maybe you guys should think about a central theme or something
- The Intro. I really like the intro
- Ron Burgundy referenced. Maybe you guys and use more of his soundboard
- Different Ethnicity (think I spell that right) in the podcast
- The audio interviews
- Covered a large variety of topics
- What you guys are playing section at the end. I loved this part because it gave your honest opinions about games you are currently playing
- Viewer mails
- PlayStation Blog Share suggestion of the week? Maybe you guys can pick a suggestion from the PlayStation Blog Share section to promote each podcast? Maybe something each of you would like to see on the PS3/PSN/PSP each week with links to each share topic? I would love to see what you guys want on the PS3/PSN/PSP
- Guess appearance by the site founder?
All and all, I think you guys did a good job for your first attempted. I will continue to listen to you guys and can’t wait to see how you guys improve this podcast in the future. Whatever you guys do, do not pull a SONY and don’t support one of your site features

99.99% of my times on this site is while at work, but I can’t listen to this there. I’ll try on my PS3 tonight though, thats the only thing I have hooked up to the internet at home so hopefully it works. Damn PS3 internet browser…
Everything was cool great podcast! You should end every pod cast with a rap song by one of your staff …lol
Only thing was that it went a bit long bout 90mins wow. I stuck it out though. Maybe the interviews made it longer idk.

I’m not sure if you knew this, but that player works on my iPhone… So I guess it’s not just a flash player (which is awesome). The direct link worked fine too, of course…

ahhh, it froze my ps3 twice last night, only got about a minute in. The static screen would have been bad any way…. Still picture + Plasma TV = Burn in. Sucks for me. I’ll try one more time tho, download it to the hard drive maybe and play it as music.
great job guys! downloaded straight to my phone. the 80-is MB file took about 10mins. As others said, at times the audio would cut out a bit. Cant remember who it was but one of you actually sounded like you were on a phone.
if the audio can be sorted out that would be great. either way ill continue listening. btw, maybe i missed it, but how often are you guys doing a podcast?
