Shoot Outs, Torture and Ramen, A Day in the life of Yakuza 4

09/02/2010 Written by Allen Tyson

The life of a Yakuza is tough, dangerous and potentially short lived. One thing SEGA teaches us is that no matter how rough it gets, there’s no reason why you can’t stay incredibly well dressed as you roam the streets of Kamurocho.

SEGA’s recent trailer for Yakuza 4 has all the elements of  Alan Mak and Felix Chong’s Internal Affairs. Prepare to watch shoot outs, street fights, betrayal, and endless supplies of cash – all in less than a minute and a half.

…1) I wish people wouldn’t assume things about a game before they play it (especially when it’s already out) 2)copying another websites overview of a trailer is pretty lame.

How Ryu Ga Gotoku 4/Yakuza 4 works is, *points gun* “I have a gun” then either 3 things happen, 1) *points gun* “I also have a gun” *person runs away* 2) “I don’t have a gun” *gun wielder runs away* 3) *single shot fire* “that wasn’t cool, you shot _____” *gun wielder runs away*

if there are “shoot outs” in “Yakuza” they have to happen 25+ years in the past and aren’t real shoot outs (sometimes).
