Ninja Theory To Announce New Game at Tokyo Game Show

09/14/2010 Written by Ray Conley

Ninja Theory recently joined the masses of game developers socially networked via Twitter.  Already, after only one day of putting the social feed to work, they have some awesome news to share with the gaming community.

Per Ninja Theory’s latest and greatest tweet, they will be announcing a brand new title at this years TGS:

Could this title be the rumored work that they are sharing with Capcom?  Or, dare I say it? More Heavenly Sword (today is the 3rd anniversary of Heavenly Sword according to Ninja Theory)? Stay close to PlayStation LifeStyle as we’ll be sure to bring that scoop as soon as we catch wind!

    @Zak – Don’t hold back any secrets!!

  3. its either a new game or they’ll announce they are working on the new devil may cry for capcom.

    its not heavnly sword 2 though, unless its a ps3 exclusive , sony owns heavnly sword series.

    Should not have used that pic. Now everyone thinks its HS:2

    I agree with abercrombieco2 (long name) that it will probably be Devil May Cry. If we ever get Heavenly Sword 2 it will most likely be from another developer.

  6. tridon says:

    DMC5. Hopefully with Dante only and none of his goofy little sidekicks. Well… maybe Trish.

  7. WestSiide says:

    I don’t think we’ll ever see another HS. NT is obviously going multi from now on.

  8. since sony owns heavly sword though they can have any one make it, i think san monica studios should be the ones put in charge of heavnly sword.

  10. Rayansaki says:

    @abercrombie

    it is a good idea for sm studios to make a hs sequel since nariko is essentially a female kratos with similar gow mechanics. the reason i believe we probably wont see a hs sequel is simply because it isnt a high enough priority for them or to anyone else really. the demand for nariko to return or to simply make another game with the hs title is simply not high enough for such work and effort to put into.
