Dead Space 2 Collector’s Edition Gets Attractive Price

After a leak by online retailer Amazon publisher EA decided to official announce Dead Space 2‘s collector’s edition. Now, retailer GameStop has listed the CE for an attractive price.
GameStop’s listing of Dead Space 2 collector’s edition is currently priced at $79.99. With an array of enticing goodies within the game’s collector’s edition consider this an affordable deal, especially for fans of the series. The CE consists of:
- Dead Space 2 game
- Downloadable Unitology Suit and Force Gun, providing Isaac with unique benefits when used in Dead Space 2
- Dead Space 2 Original Soundtrack on CD; features an hour of music compiled from the game’s score
- Concept art lithograph depicting Necromorph transformation by Visceral Games artist Brett Marting
- Isaac Clark’s collectible replica Plasma Cutter. Plasma Cutter is modelled from the new design in Dead Space 2 and features trigger activated LED lights.

Beware of this listing. Something was not listed correctly by target.com. The ASIN# shown in the listing for Dead Space 2 Collector’s Edition is actually the ASIN# for the regular edition of the game. So either the text of the listing is incorrect or the ASIN# is incorrect and it is actually the Collector’s Edition for $59.99. Just an FYI.
I believe the PS3 version does not come with the Plasma Cutter, but Dead Space Extraction instead. At least that’s according to description from Amazon before they pulled it down. Which really sucks cause I’d really prefer that Plasma Cutter, already have a Wii and Move doesn’t really appeal to me that much.
Yea the US version includes plasma and extraction the EU doesnt get the plasma cutter though it’s confirmed on their twitter
Theres a limited edition and a collectors edition. The limited edition for ps3 is the normal $60 price and comes with dead space extraction. The collectors edition is also for ps3 and is more money and comes with the laser and whatnot, not sure if it too comes with extraction though.
Don’t you all think it would be a little ass backwards if the collectors edition didn’t have Extraction? The limited edition isn’t actually limited. Extraction is included with the PS3 version of Dead Space 2.
Please correct the date you have it as 2010 and it should be 201!.
