IO Interactive Not Working With Hitman Voice Actor

A couple of days ago, Hitman voice actor David Bateson apparently shed details on the yet-to-be-announced Hitman 5. However, according to IO Interactive they are “currently not working” with Bateson.

IO Interactive tweeted the following to debunk the speculation regarding Hitman 5.

“This is rumor control. While Bateson’s comments are flattering, they are a surprise – we are currently not working on projects with him.”

Bateson said “That kind of dedication and appreciation of the game deserves repayment… with an even more gob smacking installment in Hitman 5“. On the contrary to IO Interactive’s tweet, however, there has been speculation tipping the next installment in the Hitman series to be released by Christmas, 2011.
